Workshops

Our workshops are a great way to connect with others in the community, to have the opportunity to work with visiting professional performers and to try a new activity.

Past workshops include:

  • Ballerina inspired workshop exploring the themes of friendship and never giving up on your dreams, as inspired by Felicie and Victor in the film (2016). Shelley was delighted to be invited to a preview of the screening of Ballerina hosted by the RAD in London and couldn’t wait to share the workshop experience with students.
  • Tom Dale Dance Company Our contemporary dancers took part in an awesome creative workshop with the amazing Jemima Brown from Tom Dale Dance Company. Thank you for inspiring our dancers – we loved working with you and watching the performance of SURGE and SUB:VERSION at the Taliesin Arts Centre.
  • Other workshops are designed to enhance students understanding of classical ballet history. Through using original music and/or adapted choreography from ballets such as The Nutcracker with costumes, props, and crafts where age appropriate, the creative experience is enhanced.
